Join the Contra Costa Bass Club
A community of anglers, monthly tournaments, shared learning, and a passion for bass fishing since 1990.
Whether you are new to bass fishing or a seasoned angler, CCBC offers a welcoming environment where members learn together, compete together, and build lasting friendships on the water.
Membership Requirements
To join CCBC, an applicant must:
- Be at least 18 years old
- Attend two of three consecutive club meetings
- Fish two regular tournaments with a current member
- Follow club bylaws, tournament rules, and California fishing regulations
- Be approved by membership vote and pay standard member fees
Boater Requirements
Members who wish to participate as boaters must have a safe, fully equipped vessel:
- Meets U.S. Coast Guard regulations
- Minimum of three hundred thousand dollars liability insurance
- At least seventeen feet in length
- Minimum one hundred fifteen horsepower engine
- Engine kill switch
- Working live well and bilge pump
- Navigation and anchor lights
- Bow mounted trolling motor
- Front casting platform that does not extend above the gunwales
